Anaplan to be acquired by Thoma Bravo for $10.7billion

Thoma Bravo has been on an acquisition spree, and the latest in its portfolio is Anaplan, a publicly-listed company that offers a cloud-native platform for orchestrating business performance. The all-cash transaction is providing $66 per share, resulting in a value of $10.7billion. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2022.

SentinelOne to acquire Attivo Networks, bringing identity to XDR

Cybersecurity has become more important than ever, hence it’s not surprising to see leading players in the space strengthening their position. SentinelOne is expanding its TAM to $4billion as it has acquired Attivo Networks. The deal is pegged at $616.5million, and will help SentinelOne is offering comprehensive identity security with Singularity XDR.

Adobe updates its Experience Cloud with a focus on personalization

It has now announced several updates, including the launch of Adobe App Builder for Commerce, integrations with Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as AI-drive product recommendations, among other things.

Doctolib has raised $549million as both equity and debt to reach an astounding $6.4billion valuation. Led by Eurazeo, the company is aiming to more than double its employee base to 6,000 employees, and expand to more European cities.

Website builder Webflow hits $4billion valuation as it nears $100million revenue

No-code tool Webflow has raised $120million in Series C round led by Y Combinator Continuity. The funding imputes a value of $4billion, and its founder Vlad Magdalin also highlighted that it’s on the track to hit $100million in annual recurring revenue.

Staffbase raises $115million at $1.1billion valuation to achieve global leadership in employee communications management

We’ve been talking about companies that are aiming to make it easier to communicate with frontline workers, and now, we have a company that’s focusing on employee communications management for all sorts of workers. Staffbase has closed a $115million Series E financing led by General Atlantic. It’ll be using the money for expanding to more markets and strengthen its position.

Bazaar raises $70million from Tiger Global and Dragoneer to digitize Pakistan’s retail

It was in August last year when Pakistan’s Bazaar had raised $30million. Now, it has received $70million in Series B funding. Led by Dragoneer Investment Group and Tiger Global, the startup will be deploying the funds to cover more cities in Pakistan and launch new marketplace categories too.

Amagi becomes a media tech unicorn

Media tech company Amagi has gotten $95million, making the company a unicorn. The investment was led by Accel, and the amount will be used for hiring, and expanding to new geographies.

Remote work platform Multiplier raises $60million Series B at $400million valuation

We’re witnessing a rise of companies that are making it easier to manage payrolls for employees across the globe. Multiplier is no different and to take on bigger players, it has received $60million financing. The Series B round was co-led by Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital India.

inFeedo gets $12million to help employers find out how their workforce really feels

inFeedo offers a chatbot dubbed Amber that acts as a bridge between workers and their managers to monitor employee sentiment. The startup has nabbed $12million in Series A funding led by Jungle Ventures. The funding will be utilized for shipping new products, and increasing its team size.
